This is probably the coziest outfit I've ever worn. I felt so comfortable. It was perfect to wear around the house without feeling like "why am I wearing a dress - i work from home...". I kind of wish it wasn't thrifted so I could buy another one just like it.
psst. don't mind my floors. we painted the living room without plastic down since we're getting carpet installed in few weeks and i no longer care about the condition of the hardwood floors.
the details:
dress - thrifted ($2)
tights - we love colors (in lavender)
belt - modcloth
shoes - thrifted
I found this dress at Goodwill over the weekend. At first I wasn't into it, when it's on the hanger it has a real long t-shirt like appearance. But the pattern was irresistible, I had to try it on. So I guess it was love at second sight.
Another thing about the dress - did you notice it has shoulder pads? Immediately I was like "I'm cutting these out!" but after I washed the dress and tried it on again I'm pretty sure I'm going to keep them. They're kind of cozy!
Well I've got to get back to work, I'm working on a big shop update! (You can use coupon code "BLOG10" for ten percent off!) I've been editing photos for hours! As long as this all gets done I can get to work on a secret project that I've been planning for months tomorrow!
