I'm posting my week 33 photo a day late because I was camping all weekend. (This may or may not happen at least two more times before winter! Yay!!)
This weekend we went camping in Cook Forest State Park, which is seriously one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited. There were so many views that just left me in awe. If I could move anywhere (and take my family along because I can't be far from them!!) it would be somewhere near here. I would really love to visit again and do some more exploring.
I took this instax when we pulled over to take photos of these really neat rock formations that we found earlier in the day while canoeing (we even took a little break to build one!). The road followed along side a beautiful river that was full of canoes, kayaks and tubes. On the other side of the road were cute little cabins to rent, it was incredibly charming. I would have loved to just drive around for hours taking in all the sights.
You can't really tell from the photo but my nail polish is all chipped and cracked from the weekend. I was a little hesitant to take a photo showing that (some ladies don't like to be seen with no make-up, but I don't like to be seen with chipped nail polish) but then I realized it went hand in hand with the story of the photo. My chipped nails were a result of a fun, and that's what I want that photo to remind me of.
I took a ton of photos during the camping trip most of which were film so as soon as I get them developed I'll be sure to share them! I can't wait to tell you more about my trip!
