I must admit I was channeling 3rd grade Kaylah in this outfit, this is 100% something I would have worn back then. Especially the shoes, I was a platform shoe nut, I wanted to be Spice Girl so bad. My best friend at the time and I used to fight over who got to be Sporty Spice. (For the record I always got to be, she'd settle for Baby Spice!)
I look forward to making everything nineties inspired with my new demin vest. I've been looking for one for a while now but online they're wayyyy too expensive (Seriously, $70?!) and in the thrift stores they were either too big or were cropped. I might have let out a little squeal and jumped up and down a little when I tried this one on and it fit perfect!
Also nineties related - I made an *NSync station on pandora yesterday (okay, so the outfit really went to my head) and it was so incredibly good...until it started playing The Jonas Brothers and Justin Beiber. What in the world is that all about?! Anyways the music brought up so many memories, so many "dance parties" in friends bedrooms, oh my goodness. I really miss it!!
