Thrifty Finds!

I still can't believe it's December already. This year flew by. It started snowing yesterday and hasn't stopped yet. We don't have much accumulation yet but it is so pretty and it felt so fitting for the first snow to be on December 1st.  Aaaaanyways....

We had a pretty successful thrifting trip last weekend if I do say so myself. There was still one small section of blank wall in the living room that desperately needed something hung on it and we just happened to find the perfect things. A beautiful cross stitch. (excuse you professor stingray!)


And two super pretty matching paint by numbers. Couldn't beat them for $2! The cross stitch and paint by numbers are hanging already and look absolutely perfect.

I found a faux moose mount. He's a little beat up but I really can't resist fake animal mounts. I'm not sure if you can tell his size from the picture but the moose is about as big as my hand. I would love a collection of small mounts like this!!

Two little kitty figurines. While I was taking the picture of these I realized just how weird I am for buying little cat figurines. Almost every time we're checking out at a thrift store, or antique store the person behind the counter says "Oh, my grandma collects these." I'm such a little old lady.


And last but not least, a Ren and Stimpy Christmas ornament! (Ren is in Stimpy's bag) It was in the box, why would you get rid of that!?! I can't wait to go get our real tree, I have so many awesome decorations to hang.



Did you find anything good this weekend? I'm slightly bummed I didn't get to go thrifting on black friday but it's no big deal because I got to spend time with my brother who I don't see often plus I hate crowds.
