I've found the cure to the winter blues - getting outside. Kevin a few days off of work because of the new year and our long weekend included lots of hiking. It's so easy to forgot that there is a world outisde when you're stuck in the house and it gets dark outside at 4pm. But taking a hike always cures my blues! As we were on our way back to the car I spotted these...MUSHROOMS. Eeek. I literally jumped for joy. They were a little rotten, but mushrooms none the less. I can't believe they survived the snow and ice, especially since they were up by the lake (where I posted the pictures from)
Ice on a stick, but it reminded me of a mushroom!
