I love getting mail, it's so exciting! It's even more exiting when it's polaroid film! Carrie sent me an email asking if I wanted a pack of polaroid film and camera that she had found unpacking. Heck yes! Since my last experience with polaroid film wasn't so great I tried not to get excited.
The package came, I opened it, put the film in the camera and didn't take a picture for almost a week. I wanted the perfect thing to take a picture of. I only have ten exposures, I need to use them wisely. I couldn't wait any longer... I tested the film and it's GORGEOUS! Words cannot express how exited I am, and how thankful I am for how kind Carrie was to send the film!
That's the only picture I've taken so far. I love the color, it's definitely different from the other polaroids I have seeing as it's expired film (08) but it's really charming. I'm saving the other nine exposures for when my brother is home on army leave for our Christmas in November (squeeee, so soon!) There are so many other things I want to take pictures of right now but I know I'll regret it if I don't get pictures of my brother and his daughters, and the whole family together.
I really miss polaroid film! Instax cameras don't even hold a candle to how wonderful polaroid 600 cameras are. I love how easy it is to take a picture and get something I'm really excited with, I don't have to worry about exposure and if I'm in the right setting or not. Plus nothing beats the noise a polaroid camera makes, it's so satisfying.

(the deer was ripping out of his chest...duh! :P ps. we found the deer thrifting, he's plastic, i'm so excited! he's currently on my wall wearing a wig! hehe. I'll make sure to share pictures soon! )
