10.06.10- Leaving to go stay at my parents' on tumblr.... I am so overwhelmed by the incredible support all my readers have shown me! Each comment made my heart swell with joy and my tears overflow. I was so nervous about opening up and now I feel so silly for ever doubting your kindness and love. Every thoughtful comment and story shared seriously touched my heart and made me feel so much more hopeful. Even when I'm feeling terribly alone, I now know I never will be with readers as wonderful as you all.
Yesterday evening, my mom was so kind to let me tag along with her and her two friends to dinner and to see the musical West Side Story. Let me just say, I was was blown away. I had goosebumps the whole time and wept like a baby at the end. If the musical comes to your town, I highly, highly recommend seeing it.
I had my follow-up appointment early this morning with my endocrinologist. I was such a nervous wreck last night, thinking about my appt, that I hardly slept. Overall it went well, but sadly he really didn't have many answers for me. I'm taking the lowest dose of this drug called Synthroid and then cutting it in half, but he thinks it still might be too much for me. So my doctor says either I might need to stop the pill all together or keep taking the same dose. Which really doesn't make me feel like I have very good options, especially since he doesn't want to see me again for four months. I'll find out the blood results on Tuesday and see what he tells me from there.
Even though I'm exhausted, I'm so excited for Jimmy Eat World tonight!
