Good Morning!

Can you believe it's September already!? This year is flying by.
Well well well, would you take a look at that. Doctor Octopus, the big meanie kitty, finally gave in!
It's been just over three weeks since the Professor met the other kitties and some changes have happened so it's time for an update! (Here's update number 1 and his introduction post, if you're curious.)
As you can see from the pictures above, Doc is starting to be nice to him! Doc was sitting next to me then I heard him hiss, so I looked over to see Professor Stingray cuddled up next to him. Doc looks at me then proceeds to lick the kitten. He would lick lick, hiss, lick lick, hiss. Yay! That is definitely progress! I'm so happy they stayed cuddled up long enough for me to get photo evidence of their cuddling.
The Professor is getting over his bad habit of biting. (Yesss!) But has other... quirks. He loves getting in places he shouldn't, like laundry baskets of clean clothes. And the strangest- the fridge. When he hears the refrigerator open he stops what he's doing and runs full speed into the kitchen to try to get in.  Standing at the fridge door with it open looking for something to eat is a thing of the past. You have to know what you're grabbing and where it is before you open the door or else there will be a little kitty in the fridge!
He is now sleeping in the bedroom with Kevin and I (and of course the other three kitties). It's going pretty well! At least once a night he wakes me up by rubbing his little wet nose all over my face which results in me hiding under the covers trying to lay really still so he doesn't attack me. (a moving blanket is his favorite thing to pounce on!) He is also napping more often. Before he would take five minute power naps. Now he's sleeping most of the day right along side the big cats. I'm really glad!
The picture on the left is from July 16th and the one of the right is from August 24th. He's grown so much! He's looking less like a kitten and more like a cat, or at least more like a teen cat. He's not as fluffy and his face is getting much darker. You can click the picture to make it bigger and easier to compare!
I'm so happy he's doing well and getting along with the other kitties most of the time.
    xoxo.
