Fall Tunes: Young Rival Tour Documentary Trailer.

The Young Rivals, a Hamilton, Ontario-based outfit that puts out some gritty rock'n'roll tunes have a Canadian tour documentary in the works and we happened upon a sneak peek today. Though not titled yet, the film by Last Frame Pictures is due out next Spring and follows the band through the tour process featuring small shows in unique locations and interviews with tourmates such as Hollerado, Born Ruffians and Yukon Blond.  Here's the trailer; doesn't it make you want to go see a band?  Check out their tour dates here and a free download from them below.

Fever is a new 7 inch by Capitol 6, a psychedelic folk-rock quintet based here in Vancouver. If you like log cabin building and mountains mixed in with a nice little guitar riff, you'll like this video. Just a little warning to anyone offended by raw animal carcass - might offend some. Summer Tunes: The Pack a.d.

Vancouver garage rock duo The Pack a.d.  are working on a new album right now called Unpersons (their 4th studio record on Mint Records); out September 13th.  Detroit producer Jim Diamond (who's worked with The White Stripes) flew in on his own insistence to produce it first-hand.  Nice fuzzy college fair!
