Guess what we had for lunch today...
CORN! Picked straight from our garden. It was all pretty wimpy looking. Nothing big like you'd buy at the store or from a stand on the side of the road
(do they even have those where you guys live? There are LOTS of farmers around here who sell corn on the side of the road). All of the cobs were about the size or smaller than my hand.

But holy cow, that did not stop it from being absolutely scrumptious! It was the best corn ever. I'm so proud that it came from out garden. I cannot wait til more is done and ready for me to devour.
Our garden is doing pretty good! One of Kevin's work buddies told him "It's your first garden, nothing will grow, so don't get too excited". Ha! Proved him wrong.

Everything is looking great, minus our pumpkins. They're looking pretty bad, most likely from the lack of rain
(and uh, me forgetting to water them all the time). But there are a few growing!
I'm really hoping they do well, I want to try making a pumpkin pie with my own pumpkins. And if there's enough I want to make a pumpkins roll too!
