A peek into the dining room!

Tearing out the window and down a part of the wall for a brand new patio door! Excitingggg! I took a ton of photos of them taking out the window and putting in the door, but it's kind of repetitive and the one above really does sum it up.

And finished! Last Sunday my dad and Kevin finished up the molding and built that adorable little bookshelf. We also replaced the light, even though I loved it, we needed a fan in there. 


That picture literally does it no justice, the door lets in a lot of light so I was having trouble photographing it.

It doesn't really look like that big of a change but it feels so much cozier in there. The dining room was already my favorite room in the house and it just got even better. All we need now are little hook things to put the curtains behind so they don't just hang there looking all limp!

I was looking through some photos from when we first moved in and it's weird how much different it looks and feels. I feel the same anxiety I had when we were first preparing to move in when I look at pictures before our belongings were inside the house and I can smell what the house smelled like when first came and saw it. I'm so glad our little house is turning into a home!
