110 Film

Remember a while ago I posted about a camera I found while thrifting?

It actually came with film, a brand new roll! Of course I had to grab it! Later, after I finished the roll I realized just how rare 110 film is. I had to send out to a place I found online to have it developed. But it was so worth it! Here's what I got;







Those were my favorites. I love how the film looks so vintage-y. I can't believe that the film in the camera was a brand new roll and actually worked, who would get rid of that?! I won some more 110 film on ebay not to long ago, I'm excited to finish it off, I've been trying to save it though.

Film is so charming. Kevin and I were just chatting about this yesterday, about how all the pictures of us as children as so special because we're making silly faces, there is lens flare, all pictures got kept and put in the photo album no matter how stupid, weird or bad it was. It wasn't about getting a good picture, it was about capturing a moment. I'm going to try to make a point to take more pictures with film from now on.

Have you ever found a camera thrifting that had film in it? If you found a used roll would you get it developed? I think I would, it'd be really neat to see what someone else had taken pictures of.

Well I've gotta run, I just bleached my hair and now it's time to apply dye!
