Take a Stroll

Last weekend Cole and I headed to Twelve Oaks mall in Novi. Cole went to that mall all the time as a kid, where as I always went to Oakland and then Somerset mall when it opened. So it was weird walking around a new mall and yet it felt exactly the same as any other. Anyways, I stopped in Forever 21 or rather it's called XXI Forever (when did that happen) and was immediately struck dumb by the massive size of the store. It was insane with clothes and people everywhere. I even got pushed a few times by some overly aggressive girls.

So while I was walking around in a daze, clutching my new blue dress, I was spotted by someone who recognized me from Lookbook. I didn't know that she saw me till after I was home and found a lovely email waiting for me, but it was still pretty cool. As far as I know, I've never been spotted before.

Cole and I found this new boardwalk. It's tucked away off of a dirt road over some rather smelly swamp. Stench aside, I really like this little spot. The boards are new so I don't have to worry about tripping and getting splinters, plus it's not attached to a golf course like the other one we use, so I have no fear of being run down by golf carts.
