backing that thing up right there. no shame! a post full of poses. i apologize for the medley of dork faces in every post but it's really hard to take yourself seriously day after day. when i initially started taking outfit photos i would cut my head off, so that people were forced to look at the clothes, and wouldn't think i was trying to be cool in pictures. cause that's just cheesy. i could've called my blog the headless clothes-horseman. monday edition of: deep thoughts. i love this geisha walk inducing beauty of a skirt. my second score from stone_cold_fox. the other is this ass grazing doily of a thing. my job is counterproductive i tell you. i spend money at the same time as i make it. getting paid in clothes. let me tell you----tops, skirts, jackets, and jewelry don't pay the rent. damn. cause if they did i think i'd be able to retire.

 a small breeze away from a nip slip right there. thank god i was inside. and i'm completely sans necklace which doesn't happen often. i think this neckline competes with them. neck liberation.



 various vintage adornments.....im a big fan of mixing metals. silver, gold, whatever....give it to me.


 demonstrating the matchy-ness of my dress/the floor and looking dead in the process. then i realized, sick i'm laying on the floor in a public place right now. get up. unless you want athlete's foot full body.

 neverrrrr wear these boots----love their little cowboy sally vibe, but they make my feet look 17 miles long. literally walking on cruise ships. my stepdad used to tell me he didn't need to buy me water ski's cause i already had them attached to my ankles. clearly still traumatized by that. thanks, stepdad!



that's right. a post in the laundry room. just when i thought i couldn't get any more desperate for an interesting locale for photos....but it turned out to be a perfect setting cause little did i know that the gorgeous vinyl flooring had pretty much the exact same pattern as my giant trash bag dress! perfect---cause i love me  some matchy matchy monochrome. unfortunately the yellow fluorescent lighting was a little downersaurus rex and made me look like i had a killer case of jaundice, sooooo this may be my last post in the laundry room. but it was awesome to multitask---got a load of whites done! not really, but that would've been awesome.  you know what else is awesome? the impeding weekend. enjoy amigos.

do not adjust your computer screens. yes,  i am wearing something fitted. what was i smoking, you ask? every once in a hundred years, i decide to give my giant muumuu's a rest, and instead, go for a sausage casing. and i love anything and everything lace---even a tighty whitey dress. i probably won't wear it again for a minute....maybe a random night out for getting my dance on, but i'll probably opt for shorts. you can execute way more moves. when i first started my blog, i used to shoot everything on a white wall, and now i rarely do. i thought people (i guess that would be, you) got bored because there was no foliage or sun flares around.... but looking back some of my favorite posts from the past were just plain white wall. and it's always around so that's convenience right thurrr.

scotch scotch scotch....i lo---i do not love scotch. it makes me gag. even just the thought of it. so. gnarly. i do however, love burgundy. love me some burgundy.  when i stumbled on these boots online i may have shed a tear of joy. can't get ever have enough boot. and i love a summer boot---these have amazing built in cut-out ventilation for those hot schweaty days. too bad the cut-out went literal and cut out a chunk of my foot the first day i wore them. limped for a day, and took a week to recover. it's safe to say we are currently in a love/hate relationship. i'm stuck in a major big top and short short rut right now. not that it's a new thing, but in the summer, it's on the daily. and i really do have shorts on under there, i swear. 3 day weekend dudes. you know what that means. go big or go home! but stay away from the scotch.

better late than never dudes! sorry for the hiatus. it's been work, work, oh! and i almost forgot---work. i've been trying to teach coco (yeah, my dog she's really smart) how to post for me, but she has trouble typing cause she doesn't actually have fingers.....damn her. so yeah. here are some pictures from a lewis&clark foraging exploration/lookbook shoot for planet blue. creeper weird ruins hidden in the hills of malibu. a pretty rad day at the office.
