some of you asked about the grey backpack i wore in my last post.....it's alexander wang. and i'm still paying for it.

taking a load off and matching head to burgundy toe with b.f.....not planned. so when i saw him for the first time that day i was so stoked that zoey was around to call it out, laugh at us, and be able to document it. and no, i didn't change. we went in all our twinsie glory to dinner and it was rad. ok, moving on from the couples coincidence. sooooo, i lied. i said i was going to post in new york, and obviously, i didn't. and, to add insult to injury, i also took 0 pictures, other than the few i posted here. my days buying were over-run with the words "cute", "what delivery is this?", and more "cute". 10 hour days of looking at clothes left my eyes burning (neon is hitting spring hard so that's what i blame), so by time i got to the hotel i was face-planting that pillow. i think it's time to change the name of the blog. how do you feel about: never posts n' boots?

'cause i got highlighter

i actually have no idea who's steps these are. just plopped myself down like it was my front patio.




 didn't realize it at the time but i got alot going on here....crosses and daggers and cuffs oh my!




 the saddest little fishtail to ever exist.  a rat's nest with a rat's tail.



my favorite neon bra ever. don't even care about the other colors i bought on my neon kick (orange and pink). it's all about the highlighter yellow. glowing it's bright yellow-greeness all around town proudly. this babydoll dress passes all of my prerequisites for wear. big, short? check check. sheer paneling? check. low sided? holy check. this dress rules. especially in the hot blazing summer we have goin' on right now. what didn't rule about this dress was the slip, which was not sew in. the icing on the cake. was trying to think of something to say about it being tuesday, but there isn't anything really extraordinarily awesome about tuesday. other than the fact that at least it's not monday. so cheers to that.

 i posted the lookbook for this jewelry, rouse, a bit ago.....shit is dope. religious relics? my bag.






 if this place looks familiar to you, it's because these were taken the day we did the fourth of july lookbook.......i met up with my friend pj for dinner later that night, and when i got out of the car he said "did you just come from the gym?" yeah bro, i work out in leather running shorts. doesn't everyone? fresh from spinning class. hence the birth of sporty spice. i couldn't be further from sporty, that's for damn sure, but i do enjoy these tiny little leather whisper of a running short. what i don't enjoy is running. one bit. literally wheeze, turn red, then white, then pass out. sad. gym rat i am not. beach rat, now that's a different story.

 held out on alexander wang bags until this backpacktastic fool came along. and i scored it on sale. i know, shocking. i'm still shocked. put it on the barney's card. hello, finance charges.



 i should've called this post change your clothes. because this is allll i've been wearing lately. i've been in a seven month relationship with this jacket----we are gonna go the distance. maybe a fall wedding. the denim shirt has been slept in on many occasion, and the shorts haven't been removed from my body the entire week. i'm not gonna lie about these granny high waisted blindingly pink babies---they will ride up as far as you let them, there's not a sliver of stretch---whatsoever, and they aren't lined, which = itchy and scratchy like a mofo. but they are so effing cute to me that i deal with the trials and tribulations that come with wearing them. these boots were my best purchase of the year, and this hat i'm considering in every color. leather jackets and long sleeves in the summer is a damn shame california. don't use june gloom as an excuse.
