The weekend before last there was a community garage sale in a town near by. It was an absolutely blast. Garage sales just might be my favorite thing about summer (if not, they're definitely in my top 5)

PS. I still don't have a reliable internet connection at my house. My internet provider "forgot" to send me a new modem and I'm still borrowing a signal from my neighbors (which is SO SLOW) so I'm a little behind on emails. I'll respond to all of them asap!!
I found:
a enamel flower pin for my collection, a few pairs of clip on earrings to make sweater clips, and a "bowling nut" pin (hehe).
A wonderful wall hanging!! For a dollar I thought I could take it home and figure out where to put it at a later date but the second I walked in the door I knew exactly where to hang it.
My favorite find, a new cuckoo clock! I've been on the look out for one like this for quite some time and I've finally found one. I'm not sure whether I want to hang it with the rest of my cuckoo clocks or leave it in the entertainment center.
Yesterday we hit up a few thrift stores where I found...
This belt! It's so perfectly tacky. I'm a sucker for anything with pockets, so a belt with a little pouch on the side is the most fantastic thing ever. (Plus that morning as I was getting dressed I was thinking how I needed a belt to wear with my high waisted shorts)
And two paint by numbers!
