I've only been in the new craft room for a little over a week but I think I can safely say I've been happier in that one week than the whole time I was basement craft room. I feel like I'm really thriving, I feel inspired and whole lot less lonely.
Being in the basement is lonely, no two ways about it. I feel cut off from the rest of the house down there and the kitties never really came downstairs, but they are spending all day with me in the new craft room. There is a futon in there (we need to get rid of it but haven't had a chance yet) and they're loving it. The sun shines right on them and they spend the majority of the time purring, kneading and sleeping.

Sorry about the kitty photodump, but it's been a while, they're precious and I'm stoked they hang out with me in the new craft room!
I got my new desk yesterday! We just finished setting up a few minutes ago (it looks awesomeeeee!) and tomorrow night we're tackling the hutch that goes on top of it. I'm beyond excited to start decorating once it's all set up.
