I've mention numerous times how much I love enamel flower pins and I finally have a few to call my own! When I checked my PO Box a few weeks ago to find a package from Ashley that said "fragile" and  heard rattling, my first thought was "crap,  whatever it is, it's broke!". To my surprise it wasn't and it was a full of enamel flowers, and butterflies!
This one is my favorite! It's so bright and in such great condition. It looks pretty on everything but I'm too afraid of losing it to wear it out of the house. I have a bad track record with pins. In high school I'd cover my bag in pins and by the end of the week they'd all be gone minus one or too. I'd find them a week later in my locker, on the floor, or someone would ask "did you lose this?"
And this is some of my current collection of pretty brooches. I don't have enough enamel flowers to call it a collection yet so they reside with the rest of my pins and such. I'd like to find a nice way to display them all. Maybe I'll frame them...
Have any good ideas on how to display my pretty vintage brooches?
xoxo
