This weekend was wonderful. Saturday we went to a local community garage sale. I imagined it as a small flea market type sale, where it's all in one building. Boy was I wrong. What it actually was was garage sale after garage sale stretching across a few miles. We spent about two hours walking around hitting up garage sales! It was so much fun. We really didn't find much but it was nice to get outside and I always love rummaging through other people's junk!
I found a new little music box house for my collection. I almost abandoned it because as I was looking at it the person whose home the sale was at came up and started rambling at me about something I wasn't even looking at (a board game, uh, no thank you) I felt awkward and walked away as soon as they stopped talking, luckily Kevin grabbed it for me before he walked away. Aaaand it was only 25 cents! Score!!
This pretty little wall hanging. I got it for free! Well kind of, I also bought a bunch of cookie cutters that were priced at two dollars for all of them from this garage sale and when we payed she only asked for two dollars!
Possibly my favorite find of the weekend, this lady norelco home beauty salon. Kind of gross if it was used but it was brand new, in the box, never been used! It's the most beautiful color, I love it.
Sunday we finished up the project I mentioned a few weeks ago in my dining room! I'm really excited about it. It feels great to be working on the house again. I'll post pictures of what we did a little later this week!

It "shaves, manicures, massages and grooms"! It has all kinds of neat stuff like two nail files, nail buffer, three different massagers, cuticle pusher, lotion applicator (really, who needs that?), etc. I think what draws me to it the most is the design and color, it's so retro!
