Living with four cats can be dangerous.... or so I've learned.
This, surprisingly enough, has nothing to do with Professor Stingray. Leaf was sitting on my lap, curled up in a little ball (or as small of a ball as that big, fluffy kitty can get in) fast asleep when I accidentally knocked the fan over. He climbed (yes, climbed) my face for what felt like 45 seconds. It was like in a cartoon when a character starts to run really fast but instead of moving they just create a little dust ball. Yeah, well that happened to my face.
The picture above doesn't really give you an idea of just how gnarly it is, but I figured some folks might have sensitive tummies or just don't like to see gross things, so here is a link to a close up of my eyelid. PS. THAT WAS A WARNING, IF YOU ARE GROSSED OUT BY BLOOD & CUTS, DON'T CLICK!
I'm just really stoked that my natural reaction was "close your eyes, quickly", or else I might have lost vision in that eye.
