Not too long ago I was contacted by Funk Off, they wanted me to do a review of their products, I nervously agreed. I say nervously because what happens if the products smell weird? what if they make me all dry and itchy? All this worrying...for absolutely no reason!
Funk Off sells handmade vegan bath and body products- to keep you fresh not funky!
They sent some lotion, body spray, a first run of their lip balm and soap samples! First, lotions! These are absolutely perfect. They don't leave you feeling greasy, at all, which is a huge plus. I absolutely hate when my hands feel gross after I put on lotion. My favorite is the Vanilla Blackberry Sage. I find myself putting it on constantly, even though I don't need to since the scent is long lasting and it keeps you moisturized for quite some time!
Next, body spray! I don't wear perfumes of any kind and I really can't stand when I can smell them on anyone (other than my mom, she smells delicious!). But this stuff is awesome! My favorite of two I received was the lavender vanilla, it smells so good. Just like the lotion it's a long last scent, that isn't overwhelming! Even Kevin likes when I wear this, which is saying a lot because he complains when he can smell my hairspray, haha.
Lip balm. I am a lip balm addict, my purse has literally over ten different kinds in it. This stuff makes my lips feel so smooth and it smells really great (spearmint!). Sadly, they don't have any listed in the shop.
And finally the soap! I'm more of a body wash kind of girl but I am so in love with this soap. The two main things I like about this soap; every bar has a layer of exfoliating, apricot seed on the top. It's rough, but seriously feels so awesome, especially on my arms! The other thing is that the smell stays on you after you get out of the shower and dry off. I know all soaps should be like that, but they're not, I find that most good smelling products only smell good in the shower. Top two favorite scents: Sandalwood Vanilla Nag Champa, and Vanilla Blackberry Sage!
All of their products are cruelty free, and vegan (sans the honey soap), and come in the cutest packaging! I'm quite impressed. In conclusion- I highly, highly recommend them! I'll definitely be buying some more of everything when I run out. You can browse and shop right here!
